THE GOLDEN APPLE AWARD

All HVO volunteers are dedicated to the mission of sharing their knowledge and skills with faculty, students and clinicians at HVO sites.  However, on occasion, there is a volunteer whose contribution of time and talent is so exceptional that special recognition is deserved.

The purpose of the Golden Apple Award, established by the HVO Board of Directors in 2006, is to recognize the extraordinary contributions of HVO volunteers in support of educational activities at HVO's training sites.  The contribution may take the form of curriculum development, teacher training, mentoring of faculty, students or clinicians, didactic or clinical training, development of education and resources, etc.
