Become a Member or a Donor
What is the difference? We have two categories of supporters - donors and members. Members are health care professionals who may be interested in serving in a volunteer capacity in the upcoming year or sometime in the future. Donors come from all walks of life but are united in their commitment to our mission of improving global health through education.
Make a Donation
If you would like to give a gift in honor of or in memory of someone, fill out the appropriate information in the designated section of the on-line or printable donation forms
Give a Matching Gift
If your employer offers a Matching Gifts program, please send the form to HVO along with your donation.
Become an Ambassador-At-Large: HVO's Recurring Gift Program
Increase your support of HVO and help us reduce our expenses all at the same time. You can elect to make a contribution or membership payment to HVO on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis. Give a Talk About Your Volunteer Experience
Many volunteers upon their return home are given the opportunity to speak about their volunteer experience at grand rounds, Rotary clubs, local church, etc. If you are giving a talk please contact the HVO office by filling out the order form. We will send you informational materials about HVO to share with those you are speaking to.
Leave a Legacy: Join the Legacy Circle with a Planned Gift
A planned gift ensures that HVO will be able to continue to make important educational strides in the improvement of health care in developing countries. Getting Married – Visit the I Do Foundation
Now you can support HVO by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, the I Do Foundation allows couples and their guests to make wedding-related purchases that generate donations for charity. The I Do Foundation's Charity Registry service also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts. Check it out today, and be sure to select HVO as the beneficiary of your charitable wedding.
Involve your family, friends and colleagues with Firstgiving
Want to raise funds to support HVO or to help defray some of your volunteer-related expenses? Then you might want to consider creating a Firstgiving page. It is easy to upload photos, add some text and share this information with your family, friends, and colleagues. Let them know why you are volunteering and how they can be part of this experience.
